Meet Our Staff

Welcome to our Staff page where you can meet and interact with each of us. Wandrian Adventures staff members have lived and breathed adventure. They have been mentioned in papers for their Ironman triathlon finishes (one is a four-time finisher), in Outside Magazine for their heroics (he faced down a gun-wielding tribe in Ethiopia), and one has traveled to 42 countries and is still going. They are also part of the Who’s Who in Business. Our guides are experts who have been carefully vetted and chosen based on a strenuous process that ensures professionalism, safety awareness, risk management, and above all are genuine in their approach to you and the cultures and environment they encounter.

STAFF

John Ricci: Chief Adventurer

John RicciJohn has completed 4 Ironman triathlons, traveled to 44 countries (and counting), and maintains an impressive number of t-shirts commemorating all of these activities. He has been featured in Outdoor Magazine for his adventures abroad and can tell a meaner travel story than anyone else you are likely to meet. His love for traveling and adventure was a natural fit for starting Wandrian. If you go on one of our itineraries, you’re likely to meet him as he designs them all himself, often, just so he can go!

Tracy E. Bartley: Communications and Social Media

Tracy is a longtime traveler, having spent more than 2 years of her life on the road on 4 continents. She finished her MA on the beaches of Thailand but still considers her volunteer time in Tanzania (and summiting Kilimanjaro) much more important. Her favorite memory of traveling might be skim-boarding the coast of Ireland, or it might be sailing in Ha-Long bay, Vietnam, but regardless it has something to do with water. She grew up surfing the north coast of California and moved to Manhattan in 2009. Wandrian Adventures is the perfect combination of her passion for adventure travel and her education put into action.
